Ray(Peak Completions) is flying with the angels

Very sad indeed. Ray is the one that got me doing things to GTs only he would dream up. God bless him and his family. He will truly be missed.

I have confirmed this, but let's try to keep this low key until all Rays family has had time to find out. I am going to have this thread moved to the owners section for now so its not viewable to the general public....
This is an extremely sad day.

Praying this is not true. RIP Ray and God bless him and his family.

God rest his soul. Very sad. Condolences.

Oh no - please let it not be true

That is horrible horrible news. God speed.

RIP Ray, my buddy. Everytime I'm in my GT I will look down at the Matech plaque and will know you are there as well.

I don't really know what to say right now.

Please keep Janna and their 4 children in your thoughts.

Terrible and tragic news.

I never met this young man but through this forum could tell he had an incredible appetite for life.

More importantly, it was evident that he had a wonderful family and many many good friends.

Sincere condolences and just wishing this had not happened.

I AM SO DEEPLY SADDENED.I am in shock. What a tragedy.I feel for his family. A very sad day....

RIP, thoughts and prayers to his family and loved ones.

So very sad to hear this. Shockingly sad news. In the short time I spent with Ray, I got a lifetime of memories. Rest in Peace my friend. You and your family made the 'damn Brit' feel so welcome when I stayed with you.

This is terrible news.

RIP Ray and condolences to Janna and his family. A super nice guy and will be missed by all on this forum.

Took my breath away when I read this. I met Ray and his family a few years ago at the Miami Mile. His generosity and performance there made a lifetime memory for me.

Gentlemen,

Ray sent me a note Monday night telling me he was getting checked out in his Sea Fury yesterday. I don't know if that is what he was flying. I feel physically sick. I have no coherent thoughts. Jesus please help Janna and his 4 boys.

Ray was such a warm and down to earth person. He was a very inviting friend. He loved sharing his passions.
When we were at Miller Mtirsports park he offered me to drive his new Radical.
The problem was that he us tall and I'm short. It would have taken 30 minutes to adjust the seat for me to drive it.He said no problem I'll do for you so you can experience the radical .
I was really impressed that he would do that . I declined his offer because I thought it was to much of an inconvience to him. Than Mark jumped in and drove it!
We need some kind FGT memorial to honor such a fine and unique individual.

this is just unreal. makes me ****ing hate airplanes.

here is a picture Ray posted last year of a Sea Fury. not sure if it is his or not? he said his had 3,000 horsepower :eek

God Speed Ray

I can't add much other than on the occasions where I have met Ray he was always friendly, generous and genuine. Tragic loss for certain. Prayers go out to his family.

RIP
