R8 review.... had a customer from Europe come in tonight... picked him up at the airport in a 2010 R8 V10, all the tricks done to it... all blacked out... wheels, lights, windows, looks sinister... drive around and get to dinner and he gets out exclaiming HOW MUCH HE LIKES THIS CAR!!!! I mean it is so civilized even under full power... so quiet like a 4 cylinder!!! so smooth and refined it can be compared like fine wines and in this case best compared to porsches... like a boxster!!!

R8 for sale... 400 miles... perfect condition... pretty car.... :biggrin
 
So, to paraphrase, he said "it's a chick's car". LOL, nicely done. Good luck with the sale. :rofl

Maybe a chick's car, but the baddest bad ass chick's car out there man. I'd like to be the guy dating the chick driving that thing........ So, when you sell it to the right chick, hook a brother up. Just sayin' :thumbsup

Any engine or performance mods to that bad boy?
Did you go with the 6 spd? I have heard so-so reviews about their paddle shifter.
 
Great looking car. It has really grown on me since its introduction.

Knowing you I am imagining it is a bit quicker than the average R8.

Of course my wife saw one in person the other day and told me she wanted one at some point........so maybe there is something to the chick car thing. :wink

That said they look better in person than in pics and I would not kick that chick out of my garage. :lol :cheers

Quiet as a 4 banger, LOL!

I have to ask this...

I keep my toys in a leased warehouse. I drive my normal truck to the" shop" and leave on a bike or one of the cars.

What do you drive to the hanger to swap. Do you take the matte GT and leave with the R8?
