Thanks. I'll keep using the ethanol-free 93 (EO 93).

Perfect. Glad your still pleased with it over a couple of years :)

Second question, my GT sometimes sits for a few months without being run. Is it better for me to run ethanol or ethanol-free 93 octane?

For any GT that is sitting more than a couple of weeks, I would recommend a practice of helping it prime oil pressure before letting it fire up. he process is an easy one and identical to what should be done after each oil change service.

1. Key on
2. Wait for odometer and trip meter to display

3. Press the accelerator pedal to the floor and hold it there
4. Press the start button and hold it down 10-15 seconds, then release it

5. Let up on accelerator pedal
6. Press the start button and let engine fire up

Good idea Kendall. I know the oil change procedure.

Stupid question here. When you preform step #3 and #4 doesn't the car fire up and rev like crazy?

QSS

NO. If you hold the pedal to the floor the computer will not let the car start.

Please note that if not stock and has a tuner installed some tuners override the wide open throttle kill injectors feature and will start. Be careful as the last thing you want to happen I a none primed engine starting at WOT.

I don't know why someone would opt to do that, and I would not and do not within my calibrations.

No, just the pulley and a tune.

You running X-pipe too?

I have been using the Blue Driver OBD2 reader for several years now. Works well on my Porsches and Ferraris. You can order it from Amazon for under $100.

What OBD reader do you use? I picked one up but it doesn’t seem to work for that purpose. Works on my SUV just fine

Just ordered my pulley and tune from Torrie! Great guy. Look forward to getting it installed.

Thank you sir

These are on hand and ready to ship today.

Another happy customer here, Torrie‘s tune is great and he was a huge help getting my car ready for a smog check. Super responsive as others have said.

When returning the '05-'06 Tune to stock with the SCT Xcalibrator 2, is it necessary to disconnect the fuel pump and electric fan fuses?

And if it is necessary, are those fuses (#13 and #8-#10), located in the distribution box as opposed to the passenger foot well fuse box?

Thanks.

Not normally.

Excellent, thanks Torrie. For some reasons the SCT instructions had indicated so, but didn't seem to be needed particularly without engine running, but wanted to be sure.

Complete.

Good deal man.
