Newbie to a GT

Hey everyone, recently bought a new to me Ford GT. Love every thing about it.

Would love to mod it but want your expert opinion on whats best for the GT.

I'm looking for

headers-exhaust
bumper delete
short shifter
suspension - I'm not sure whats best in the market for the GT's now
pulley
tune - what are my choices when it comes to tuning

I read about people upgrading their transaxle cooler so is this a must?

obviously everyone knows about the seedometer going bad well mine did so any solution to it?

would also like your input on what else I can add on for bolts on..will post pics of my ride as soon as it's here

just replaced the goodyears with nitto INVO's..that was the only one available to the market at the moment

what else am I missing..?

oh yah brake rotors and brakes..? who sells those?

Invo are only W rated last time I looked, so don't drive faster then 168 mph

Cool cars. Cool color on the GT. Where in the world are you? And what's the embroidering say at the top of your seats?

Brakes and rotors - Stillen has them. Or Giro if you only need discs.

Welcome, no worries the GT owners here will take care of you as they take care of me.

I am "new" as well (6 months), and thanks to the guys here at the forum I know more about these cars then all me previous rides.
At the moment I am also making some upgrades, since I live overseas I ask Fubar about what is right and wrong, all the technical ECU stuff to Torrie and Kendall is putting a complete package for me and their service is an A class 5 star no question about it.

1) Exhaust: We sell all of the different exhaust configurations. We should chat to see what you would like and we can explain the different options.
2) RBD: Two kits available. The CDC kit that we sell is likely 2X or more popular than the other kit. Again we can discuss the options.
3) Short Shifter: Ford Racing
4) You can lower car with stock springs/struts with adjustable spring perches which we stock. More expensive coil over solutions available from Penske and KW
5) All Pulley/Tune kits are not created equal. A few choices on the market. We prefer and sell the Ford racing kit because we believe that it is the most complete kit on the market.
6) Beyond out-of-box tunes (like the one above), Torrie is likely one of the most experienced GT tuners on the planet and is on top of his game
7) If driving the GT in warmer weather, then a transaxle cooler is a good idea and we have a kit specifically designed for the GT

Sorry, I had a typo in my earlier post. It is Jack at MMP (not MMC) that made a production run of the Ford racing mufflers and full length headers.

I bought mine there and had them polished, ceramic coated and installed by Shadowman.

They are NOT too loud btw.

I was being facetious. It has been an argument here before.

Forum Member ZRchris had a production run of the shifter made a couple months ago.

As FRPP starts to discontinue parts from the catalog, some smaller businesses have picked up where they left off. MMP still gets their Headers from Borla and ZRChris gets his from the OEM source too tho I forgot if that was Hurst or someone else.

I have the full length GTX cat delete exhaust and love it.
