Let's post up places to get stock GT wheels.

There will be other places and maybe cheaper but here is one.....

My son is an executive at Summit Racing. I can get those at about 30% off!!! College tuition is finally paying off.
 
Can you legitimately get those wheels from summit even at the List price on the link? Or will they just tell you after months of waiting they are no longer available?
 
Wow, that's only $3712 before shipping & tax. I think I paid around that for a set of very used BBS GT wheels!

I tried to order them through Ford Racing only to be told many weeks later that they are now a Ford only item as such I too am curious if Summit Racing can truly ship them

Summit Racing like many other Ford Racing distributors sell stock out of the Ford Racing warehouse. (most) not all, do not stock expensive items like these wheels. The problem is that they will take your order and charge your credit card and then order the parts to find out that the warehouse is out of stock. In this case on the wheels, they are gone for good from Ford Racing. Summit Racing will not be shipping you any wheels even though they are still on their website.

So the wheels are not available OEM new from Summit or Ford Racing? One would think they could manufacturer small runs or let BBS supply us.

It's not happening guys. Ford parts counter is the ONLY place you can get them. Been through this many times over the last year, only to find out that none of these ford racing distributors can get them anymore.
