My Speedo broke just before the Mojave Mile!

Have they modded the speedo to make it the same size as the oem yet?

And did the new boost gauge require a new sending unit?

So - I guess the 30 PSI gauge can't read the OE data on the bus...and that's why we need to install a new run to the engine with a new sensor? I ask because I'm installing the Whipple 4.0L with the 4" pulley to get 19 PSI...which I know will pin the OEM bost gauge. At the price for the whole cluster, it makes sense to pack the OE dash up in a box and I'd also order the gauge you got. Who supplies that sensor, if I may ask?

Speedhut provides the sensor and gauge at no addtional cost! Just a substitution for the OEM type gauge.

The A/F guage doesn't come with a sensor.

That works for me! Thanks for the heads up!

I'm on Ford speedo #4! Is that a record? After BlackIce tries his new setup I'll think about doing it also when #4 dies.

PS BlackICe - why didn't you set the redline on the new tach higher to match your tune?

You drive too fast! :lol

I didn't change the redline because of the short time frame and I didn't want to encorage other drivers to go higher than 6500.

Am I the only one who wants to put the fuel tank reading next the wheel and the oil pressure (or eve better pressure/temp) over between the boost and speedo.

Ice! how much variation in fuel/air ratios do you see on a hard run like Mojave? You sacrificed the voltmeter to do it, so I am curious how effective it is.

You might have to lengthen some wires but you are free to move the smaller gauges anywhere you like.

The yellow line if Lamba. Here is a datalog of 5th gear (have 3.9 rear ratio) as you can see for about 1 sec it goes lean just after the shift. The fuel pressure fall when the throttle is closed and doesn't build back up soon enough when the boost is reapply. I thought it was best to limit my runs seeing how the fuel pumps and injectors were near maxing out.

I hope the BAP and retuning will fix this problem.

What does the new SpeedHut set up cost? I know an OEM fuel gage is $540 + install. All others are still hanging on but could fail at any time. Like anything else if the price is right now it will most likely not go down and may be a must for the spare parts cabinet.

They indicate a price of around 13 and change for the entire dash and gauge setup on the site...here:

Gauges lit up!

This is with the red pointer and blue backlighting options.

That looks really outstanding!
I have had zero gauge issues with my late 2005 GT. If, or when, I do, then SpeedHut it is for me.
OOPS, did I just jinx myself???

Love the Blue backlighting

Is the panel secured in the pic or is there light leaking around the top & bottom? Or is it an illusion?

That is the blue tape I didn't completely remove when I took the pictures.

the guages look really good. i assume these guages will not get damaged as a result of the GT's electrical problem?

I am not expecting any more problems, but I don't know for sure. Anyway Speedhut's warranty is much better than Ford's and the replacement costs are less than 1/5th of OEM!

I am looking for a temp guage...I purchased one from speedhut but is it does not
match the original enough for me. I would prefer an original.

If anyone has one I would love to buy it.

Thanks

I have a GOOD used OEM Temp Gauge For Sale for $410.00 + S/H!!! :thumbsup

those look great Clinton, it seems as time goes on more and more GT's will find themselves with these!
