The Ferrari chat forum nuke me when i bring this up; that is when they are not spinning their "dont drive" weird auto-celibacy cult.
The F cars are just not gorgeous. Last good looking one was 308 period.
512BB is hot; on my list; as well as 308QV ....for Magnum
288 is epic; though in $250K+ land
How about 3' of snow and ice? How about - the law here says you need snow tires from 12/15-3/15? Ain't no snow tires for this thing AFAIK...and I don't happen to have a snow plow or an AWD FGT...besides which, salt and aluminum don't go well together, and we've got millions of pounds of salt on the roads here now...
How about - this is what I drive for winter fun -- 525 HP modded Duramax with over 1000 LBS of RWTQ and a measured 0-60 of 5.3 seconds!
I rest my case now. The GT will have to wait a bit longer -

Are you referring to a modified tune which increases the boost? I have read they do wonders for the power and torque output, but you have to watch the exhaust gas temperature under sustained high power use or risk damage.
+1 Well, the 308/288 and the 512BB.
The more advanced setups have EGT sensors connected to the inline add-on tuners, which monitor EGT's and when called for, push the power levels back to stock trim. The tranny's aren't even good for more than 550 RWHP without a proper rebuild, but a solid 550 RWHP would give you almost 1000 RWTQ, which as was said here, will blow away many cars in a straight line. In any case, you aren't going to blast one of these all day long. They're good for huge power in short spurts...much like nitrous shots.Are you referring to a modified tune which increases the boost?
