I've always liked this one:

Both are Yosemite National Park - 1st Pic is Merced River with El Capitan in the background, 2nd Pic is on Tioga Road, about a mile east of the Yosemite Creek crossing (used to be called "Quakiing Aspen" exhibit). All kinds of birds there, but no hunting in the Park.

The kids, wife and I are staying at the Westin. Do you want to meet for coffee somewhere? Has to be early so I can sneak out in the morning. We will be here to the July 5. Rubber duck racing, bike riding, horse back riding, going up to see the snow and the fish hatch is on the agenda.

Ralphie. You are such a trooper. I just got back from Yosemite and at times did wish I had my GT. But when I saw a guy with a Ferrari nearly crying that a pinecone had dropped and dented the roof and shattered the windshield I was so glad my baby was safe at home. Plus we had 3 kids so we took wife's Cayenne. The roads are beautiful to drive. I almost rented a big SUV but so glad we took the Cayenne instead. The last few miles to the Ahwanee was a nightmare and took oveer two hours due to road closures...We are now in Park City. Happy 4th of July everyone.

Hey! Happy Independence Day to all the Forum members!

Attended a celebration at the US Ambassador's residency on Friday. At the celebration they had 3-4 Harley Davidson's parked around his grounds and even had a Harley in his dinning room for all to see. US Navy 7th fleet band played a wonderful assortment of music for the guests to enjoy. They served an assortment of foods including many American favorites and also had US name brands such as Starbucks, Duncan Donuts, Sunkist, Sun-Maid and Jack Daniels for tasting. Buckets of beer were placed around and it was great to have a couple of Samuel Adams to drink instead of the locally brewed stuff!

Was thinking what a kick it would have been to have had a Ford GT on display at this celebration of all things American. The attendees were all over having their pictures taken next to or in front of the Harleys and I sure the GT would have been the hit of the party. People around the world prize items that say MADE IN AMERICA! It still stands for something.

Just wanted everyone to know the Birthday of America is celebrated the world over and by many who are not even Americans. They celebrate the vision that America has brought to the world in regards to basic human rights.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
