GT Navigation Solution

Oh ,ya . It all works.
Had it installed by a pro. I liked it so much I put a 2nd one in my old 911.
The Mac slid right out (carefully) and in with the jvc .
I couldn't watch ! I get squeamish over stuff like that !

The instrument/guages are glass faced and have a non-reflective coating on them similar to a good pair of binoculars. This can be scratched.

I have also heard, from a couple of sources (including analogdesigner), that the instrument guage glass face non-reflective coating will come off if you use a glass cleaner with ammonia...

I also have the Garmin Nuvi 660. Awesome unit! I mount it with the suction pedestal right behind the shifter, over towards the hand brake. No problem shifting or seeing the speedo. Used it for the first time on our SoCal ralley from Temecula to Idyllwild to Palm Desert.

Are you mounting the suction cup onto the magnesium console? I haven't tried that yet.

Here is my Eclipse touch screen nav sytem installed by Gennadi (www.gtx1.com) it is incorporated rather nicely and seamlessly.
