GT driving addiction

...I must admit it, after adding 4k miles in less than 3 months to the odometer there is no hiding, driving my GT has become an addiction. So strong that it clearly overcomes any fear of excessive high mileage depreciation.

I know i might be reinventing the wheel for our UK friends, but I have just come back from a road trip to wales and, omg :eek , what a driving experience. Any European GT deserves to stretch its leg on that tarmac, it is literally a track on the roads, with a scenery. Wide roads, visibility for miles and no-one around but sheeps (which tried to kill me in a couple of occasions)

Basically have driven in all the roads that EVO (the supercar magazine here in the uk) uses to test cars, e.g. it has been the set of F40 vs F50 vs Enzo and many others. Warmly recommend it, best 700 miles added on the car, even better than the route napoleon or stelvio.

Great scenery! Very envious. :thumbsup

Great shots. Now I know what my car would look like in Europe. It is funny, but about an hour from here (and not too far from VIR) are spots where I could take almost identical pics as your middle pic. (just that our mountains are not quite as high) Keep driving her.

Very nice

Great pictures. I grew up in Devon, but have not been there in many years. I'm just "stuck" here in California. I liked the links to the maps!

Hi Neil, I don't recall that you came from Devon! Cool!

Beautiful pix, BUT YOU'RE DRIVING ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!:rofl

Great pics , you gotta love that white GT , it really stands out within those backgrounds

The countryside in the 2nd pic looks like it could use a lint roller.:lol

Seriously, great photos. Thanks for sharing.

Glad to hear you are driving your Gt .
Driving your Gt is what it is all about !!!
Its so much more fun driving ,than having a garage queen!
I guess that's what winter is for! Looking at your Gt and wishing you could drive her !!

(just that our mountains are not quite as high)

You two don't have "mountains"! You have "hills"! :lol

On the driving her vs. garage queen thingy: the idea would be to buy one for driving pleasure and another one for the "preservation of the species".... would be nice to implement the latter, but i guess that banks have become a little too hard to rob these days for that!

btw on a less encouraging note had to replace the clutch after 5k on the odometer (guess it had been trasported w/o being whinced in the loading/offloading, or the previous owner managed to do hill start in 3rd daily).

anyways, clutch replacement was a good excuse for a gt guys bumper delete as you can see :-) ...finally it makes some justice to the borla -x tips

Wow, that has to be pretty much perfect. Thanks for sharing the pics.
