At least they don't require a spare tire any more.

That should be plenty... do they come in black?

Another "Engine Start" button? That's sooooo last decade! Personally, find them annoying. 40 years of driving has habituated me to twist-the-key to start the engine, and that doesn't take up any more real estate on the control panels. A separate start button is just styling at the expense of function.

Pretty sure the start on this one doesn't require a key in the ignition, like a great deal of other Ford products now. Key in pocket, hit button. Easy.

Separate start button has a function on our GTs. It gives the gauges a chance to work...once more please...Yes!

Dave can you find out if the car will be at any other shows like New York or DC.
Dave, please give us a heads up on the DC show. It's next week, and of course I'll buy tickets if THE CAR is going to be there. Thx in advance

Very unlikely. Haven't gotten a specific answer yet but NAIAS doesn't end until 7 PM the night of the 25th, and DC starts on the 23rd.

So yes, made a special deviation from our intended destination (auction week) to go see this car. Totally worth it.

I took a 1,200 mile detour to see the car today. Yes-totally worth it. The car is stunning and was mobbed by people 4-5 deep all day.

Much wilder than pictures represent. Agree?

Very much so. I'm really floored by the car. Being a life-long Ford guy, I'm really proud of Ford for what they have done with this car. It is obviously the product of some very passionate enthusiasts.

I would think the car would be at the Chicago Auto Show Feb 14-22. Chicago touts itself as the largest show in the US. It definitely is the oldest continuous show in the US. The Chicago Auto Show website doesn't list the new Ford GT as one of the cars but come out anyway! We have a gathering of GT owners every year & we have fun. We will be at the show on Saturday Feb 21 but spend Fri-Sun in Chicago on Michigan Ave. Maybe I could talk Camilo & DBK into coming out.

Hoping the Phoenix will be rising at the Dallas Auto Show. Looks like the closest it will get near me in the short term.

Houston Auto Show starts today and in an inquiry to them if the Ford GT was going to be at the show, they responded yes! Hope it's not the Ford GT (Mustang). Taking my camera just in case.

Headed to the show shortly and will let you know what I see.
