Getting Ready for the Texas Mile

Whooeee. When the pedal hits the medal and the motor hits its powerband that thing is incredible. Hope your dream comes true for the car at the mile.

Steve,

Got my car back from Rich last week. He sprinkled some of his "magic dust" on it. It's loaded and cocked and ready for the Mile.

Any update on The Texas Mile this weekend in Beeville, Texas as I was not able to go. If any news is known please post.

According the Texas Mile Facebook Mark's car was getting ready to go about 30 minutes ago. No update.

From the first link:

It was there with a new paint scheme. It was having problems though; misfiring like crazy. Never got a good run.

257.7 while misfiring is damm good IMO.

I wish I could do in a mile what this car did in the 1/2 mile while misfiring.

Sorry guys, been fighting a backfiring problem. Believe we found the issue. Replaced crank and cam sensor and rewired them as well. Problem seems to have been fixed. The car is flying we just need to get a clean pass. Putting new set of tires on now and will give it a rip. The car went 217.3 on mid boost at the half. The car will run the number we just had to work some issues out. Stay tuned...

Good luck Mark, be careful and safe on your runs.
