How is the SC gonna work? Belt at angle?

Same as stock blower just sits a little higher!

Yep. the supercharger is just taller. Although the blower is the eye catcher in those photos, you should take time to checkout the water necks, on the front and back of the motor, with the correctly designed steam vents. As a side note, we had to hard mount the motor so there wouldn't be any major (or minor) motor shifting because of the tight fit against the firewall. We also used a hard mount for the transaxle. The original transaxle mount was showing signs or tearing. I don't think it would ever be an issue for a stock car or even lightly modified. It took a 25k ton press to get the transaxle mount fitted into it's slot correctly... what a PIA. Just wait until you see the expanded water tank for the intercooler. It's gonna freak you out.

Here is a shot of the rear ports... they are so cute.

I know you guys are getting bored of this stuff but it's all I have.

Check out the machining on these new water ports. The work is really impressive 5-axis machine stuff.
IMG_0250.jpg

Then there the massive, massive supercharger, it should be able to produce the 35lbs of boost we want at 8000rpm. The pulley that drive the SC is huge compared the 4.0L whipple so the belt should gets lots of surface grip.

Rear water port next to the rear ports (so cuuuuute)

They belong on a little miniature car, with a hamster at the wheel.

The ATI dampener... with no timing marks (oui!)

So the plan is that this thing is going to spin to 8k on 35 psi? Hey, go big or go home. :lol

That blower is the size of a small house.

Been following this thread for a while.

Somehow, the term 'amazing' just doesn't do this justice. Need another adjective. :thumbsup

Is "longest build thread ever" a adjective? ;)

Do you ever say anything positive?

I’m going to have Shawn put “F*ck Mullet” on this button.

That’s pretty good. I’m going to steal your line the next time somebody asks me that question.

I think Fischer is calling this build the “FM1500” if that gives you an idea.

I'm positive it's taken a long time. ;)

1500 huh? I could bring out my fast car. :)

All seriousness, any ballpark time on when its gonna be ready?

That's a cool button on the shifter, got another one of those buttons?

It is going to PRI at the end of november. I doubt we will have the tuning finished on it then but it should be in one piece. I'll feel better if I can just sit in it and pretend to drive.
