Does anyone know why the cutouts in the front are blocked off and do not supply air to front brake rotors? Would ducts be hard to route to the center of the rotors?

Dear Black Ice - I have Super Trapp slip ons that with one disk must be 50 db. Of course the GT then has around 250 hp I would guess! It's like running a cork in the exhaust. Of course, I would play around with the system to see how many disks I could run to get to 92 db uphill with the typical overcast cool Laguna morning. I haven't used the Super Trapps yet. I will have my GT at the open track but am not pre-registered. I may just be a spectator. My friend with his modified ' 06 Z06 will be there running. He's usually the fastest fendered car on the track. Are you coming?

My Black/Silver Stripe was the one at last year's rally with the brake ducts made functional. Yes it is true there are numerous obstacles in the way to the rotors, especially the air conditioning stuff. I had a guy do the work for me and he said it was a b*tch, but it works great. Also, mine stops right at the inner fender with the option of extending more tubing right to the rotor. This is left off for regular driving b/c it will definitely rub on a full turn. Would love to post pics, but my car is at Saleen right now and then off to Genaddi.
A certain black/silver with a trailer also has the brake ducts fucntional since late 2005.
Yes the tires will rub the ducts on full lock and the air conditioning bits need to be cut off and repositioned.
