Just got back from the party. Everyone had a great time. All the responses that were posted on the Fred retirement thread were printed out and given to him. He was very touched.

Doesn't that one guy own a tie? Maybe we know what he deserves at Indy.

It was a fun time to have my old friend GT Joey back in town. Glad to see Fred have a good turnout for his retirement, and as usual Joey proved one of the premier orators of our time with his good-natured ribbing of the guest of honor.

The best part is we dragged Joey down to the dirty city for some late night partying. It was a little late, loud, smoky and dark, but it was a cultural experience not to be missed.

:cheers

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, Frank and I are still feeling the effects from last night, too much smoke and a little beverage!

Hey, Dave thanks for showing us the short cut to Camillo's, I think we passed the Brooklyn Bridge on the way!

Cultural experience. Ahhh, that what it was. I guess we don't get out of the burbs too often. We did come home with the Expedition, all four chrome wheels and parts intact. It's good to be home!

Thank you Camillo, Gene, Dave and GT Joey for a enlightening time last evening.
