Hey beside's mother nature interuptions it was a good race.

I really think it was the best race yet since Tony G broke up with cart. Lots of lead changes and different leaders. Two dash's for the finish. If weather would have held up it would have been fantastic lots of possible winners on the lead lap.

Hey Mr Chip, Thanks for the pictures. Now how about some from the evening entertainment!!

The cars look sweet and I'm sure it was a great get together.

4 way difficulty.

The menage a trois with Chip, AJ and Mario has been removed off the internet... way to gay for FORDGTFORUM.:lol :rofl :lol

Bony,

Working as your stuntman can be pretty risky! :eek Another last minute schedule change as a team owners meeting was called so Danica, Sarah Fisher, and Milka Duno had to stand in with me for the menage a quatro!:banana :cheers :banana Things started out pretty good but then I blew it when I said, "I didn't know any girls existed that could drive 500 miles without stopping to use the restroom." I woke up face down with a big bump on my head outside the pit area.:ack :frown :bored

Thanks to all that made the event such a success !! Even the lack of cooperation from mother nature didn't 'dampen' the spirit of the group. A real blast from beginning to end!! :thumbsup

NOTE TO GTJOEY; I REALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE POLICE ESCORTS STANDING ON THEIR MOTORCYCLE SEATS, TO AND FROM THE TRACK. BUT PAYING ALL THAT $$ FOR THAT ONE GUY TO STAND ON THE HOOD OF MY VOLVO TO DIRECT GT TRAFFIC - YOU ARE OVER THE TOP! THIS EVEN AFTER BONY KEPT ME FROM SELLING YOUR GT OUTRIGHT TO ONE OF THE INDY ATTENDEES -- HIS CREDIT SCORE OF 315 AND LACK OF SUITABLE DOWNPAYMENT NOTWITHSTANDING. LOVE YA BABY!!

Just got in this afternoon from our 2010 mile round trip. What a blast! Car ran flawless. Definitely the most fun road trip I have ever taken. No rattles, tight as a drum despite getting rained on nearly every day. White does clean up fast and hides a lot of muck. Great to run up to Indy from the Lone Star state with Spirit, SilverBullitt, Bigs, Dr. Pikul and wild man Steve. Nice to meet Tulsa Dave also. Thanks to JOEY, and DBK along with Indy GT for the hospitality. Wonderful dinners with Daniel and Co. What a prince. It was great to see so many different GTs with various mods. My wish list now includes the bumper delete look (thanks to Bony), chrome caps for the fluid reservoirs, a pulley and tune, and maybe a fire suppression system for grins. The wife and I made it 7 days and 6 nights in a Ford GT....the cover bag is excellent luggage. Till we all meet again, Peace

I've never before been to a game or race where I didn't have to wait an hr or so in lines. In Indy there were NO lines! :biggrin The police escorts to & from the track were well worth the $$ (not to mention the stunts the cops did)! :thumbsup

The race was fun to watch & I really enjoyed seeing many of the GT boys again. :cheers And... the GTs got to play in the rain a bit. (They didn't even complain & it just gave all of us another reason to rub down our GTs.) :lol

GT Joey, you did a GREAT job organizing the entire event!!! Thanks for helping to make this a truly wonderful experience!!

The only downfall was driving back without the rest of the TX/OK group... You guys (Bigs, ByeEnzo, Steve592, Dr. Pikul, Spirit, Dbtgt, & Silverbullitt) made the road trip up there SO much fun!! :banana

Thanks to GT Joey, DBK and everyone else that helped out to make it all happen. We all had a great time!
I drove back to Vegas, 1853.2 miles, one ticket, but priceless 25 hours of "seat-time".
I trust the Texas convoy didn't run over all 5 deer I saw on my way down 44...?
Nice meeting so many GT people. I will post photos when I figure it out...
Some talk of next year so... I call dibs again on sitting next to bony at next years dinner.:thumbsup (Mahalo!)

Thanks to everyone for making this past weekend memorable. We had a great time... for those who missed it, the 500 experience is truly one of the must see/do items in automobile life. Special thanks to GT Joey for the endless hard work to put something like this together.

Thanks to GTJoey, Bony, Indy, and DBK for putting on a great event. I wish I had made it last year to Detroit. My first race and it was a great event. I really appreciated the time meeting other owners and learning a ton about this great car. Too bad we couldn't have helped with drying out the track.

Got my wheels cleaned up after a slightly raining weekend.
Thanks

Hog Haulers just left and...

....my little yellow friend is back in the garage. A trace of the Indy infield remains in the wheel wells. What a great trip. Thanks again Joey and DBK. Looking forward to California. :cheers

What a great trip to Indy. Thanks Joey, DBK, Bony, IndyGT and everyone in attendance. With every GT trip we get to know each other better. Pattie and I got home last night after a couple of nights in Missouri having my trailer tweeked where it was built. For those of you who heard my story about getting shot at in Arkansas, Missouri proved to be almost as exciting. There was an attempted bank robbery across the street from our motel, and the local yocals surrounded the bank with assault rifles leaving my GT sitting in the parking lot 30 ft. away. We got in the GT and got the hell out of there. Just didn't want to press my luck. Thanks again for a good time. See you in California!
