Let's see, this (list above) from the same guy who wasn't able to find simple radio frequencies for the Indy driver's? I thought you hadn't been to Indy before ?? :bs

Police Escorts

I take it (although it has not been specifically said) the police escorts each day are from the Marriott hotel to the track and back to the hotel. (?) Many police escorts have different assemblage areas before heading out especially for large groups such as ours. As I will be joining the party (not staying at the hotel proper) this would be helpful information.
As far a parking when we get to the track, where specifically are our parking arrangements on Friday and Saturday and Sunday? If I have missed this info on a previous post, I appologize. It is a big area and would like some idea of where we are parking our cars, and could DBK give the attendees some general idea of where the ticket block has us seating (Section and row would be great). Guys, the track is big with seating around just about the whole perimeter. State Police parking area (if that is where we are parking in mass) to turn 1 is not too bad a walk. Parking area to turn 3 or 4 is a real hike! May effect shoes, and carry alongs.....
Some guidance please from the ticket(s) holder and parking arranger....

I know it's been said before many times, but mentioning to someone of a "Good Job" done, is never enough. This forum has been very fortunate to have people like GTJOEY and DBK, who pull for us and make things happen.

Thank you guys from myself and all of our FGT buddies.

On another note, on sat 5/5 I was fortunate to work on a photo shoot with Sarah Fisher(the indy car driver), and I can only tell you guys that she is very impressive, and a really put together individual. She was very nice to all of the crew on the shoot, and even took a picture with me and my FGT.
I made her aware of the FGT's coming to Indy, and she will try to make herself available for a photo opt. with our cars. She also envited me (and friends) to her garage, in between the festivities. GTJOEY hopefully will set up something to visit her.

Car Trailers & Indy

Guys,

I will be bringing my GT in a car trailer. I called the hotel to make sure there would be a place to park my truck and trailer after unloading the GT. They informed me that there would not be space available and recomended that I call somone named "Z" who runs a commercial lot three blocks away.

So my questions are threefold:
1. Was the hotel staff's information accurate?
2. Have any other off-site arragements been made
3. Would the group like me to investigate this site..
