Ford GT Rally 6 *Registration* - Who's in!!!

Is there a website for the Rally?

Ed

Ed,

Yes, you're on it. There is a whole section of this Forum devoted to the Rally and all related Rally matters. Click on the "Forum" tab above and then scroll down to the "Ford GT National Rally" section and click on that.

78 days and counting. Can't wait!

Sent in the registration form and the payment today!!! Looking forward to another great Rally!

The proverbial check is in the mail. Looking forward to the drive up to SLC, seeing old friends and running at Miller. Thanks to DBK for organizing Rally 6. AC

Got Renee and I registered and completing our plans. Be great to get together with the gang again and have some good track time. Thanks DBK for all the work in making arrangements. Indy GT and I spent yesterday at the Joliet Autobahn on the full course with Dr Frank as our pit crew (worth less as a pit crew) but a good cheer leader. I will not go into details but Indy GT likes to draw black circles on the asphalt with his tires.

I'm in albeit without wife and car. My wonderful wife, who loved the last Rally at VIR, said she would handle getting the 3 knuckleheads to HS, college and law school that week, and insisted I go to the Rally. PayPal and registration done. Thanks, Terry

Im glad Im not the only one coming solo without car. Can somone guide me as to how to register and pay via PP? Dahhh. Just looked at the begining of the post. Sorry. If Im not bringing my GT should I still register and or pay?

Ship the car, Terry - if you're going to be in Salt Lake and Tooele, you'll wish you had it - so send it on ahead. Maybe you can have Cantwell deliver it - you live in New Virginia, don't you (Between Pennsylvania and Ohio) - so Tim could have it picked up there, or in Nebrakansas. :lol

Not fair, we NEED details. But if Indy GT does a write up it may have to be done in installments, complete with dictionary explanations of the more technical terms.

Or my guess is that the cold tires either 1) bit him hard or 2) he was warming them for better track performance!

btw I agree frankie is worthless..................:biggrin

Ralphie: I live in old Va-Mr Jefferson's Va between Md and NC. There is no question that you are right. Every time I have been to the annual Viper event and at Rally 5 I felt for the guys that did not have their cars there. It is just that late August/ Sept is my busy season and I figure at best I can spend a couple of days and soak up the wit and wisdom of guys like you , Jeff and the GT guys.

IndyGT did in fact perform a textbook manuver with lots of onlookers and video. I will let you all know when it's on youtube. I think we'll have to change Blake's name to BadAss Blake. His Shelby is really, really badass. It was very hot prepping us for SLC.

In !!

Just paid via PP. Also e-mailing my registration form. Im still not sure if and how to get my car there since Im out of town on family vacation til the 24th anyway.

Grew up in SLC, have a home in Deer Valley-Park City and will be in Chicago at an orthopaedic meeting that entire weekend. Sounds like a great time. Weather will be perfect. It's only about 110 miles west of Tooele to Bonneville Salt Flats. Unfortunately Speed Week is August 13-19, 2011 at the Salt Flats. However, it is a nice straight run west to Wendover, casinos, and pretty good food.

If I was coming to the event, we could have a reception at my home in Deer Valley, but I am committed to Chicago. Sorry.

Well, Doc, sorry to hear you have another medical event that pre-empts a GT function. Let's be sure to get out on the road in July.
