That's a HUGE difference in just a single lap! Impressive!

This is awesome!
I wonder how the street GT would compare to these lap times.

ma.
If they were both on similar tires(slicks) It’s a fair comparison

DoctorV8 has a Senna & NGT. He says the Senna is much faster than the NGT at COTA. Tons of downforce on the Senna.

Not in the same universe.

Wow, that's incredible.
Would be interesting to test and compare
Street, Competition and MarkII.

Having driven a Senna a little, and being very impressed by it, this is nuts

Senna has a metric ton of horsepower. It's a car that goes right around 150 mph in a quarter mile despite having a park bench on the back and what has to be a decent amount of overall drag. But it's hard to beat full width race slicks. It's got road car tires that are quite narrow in the front. That said, it is still pretty impressive the MkII puts that kind of gap on what is by far the fastest road-car track-car on the planet at a pretty small course.

MkII looks insanely smooth everywhere. Nice driving Mr. Sloss.

Man what a delta, I wouldnt have guessed that much difference on short course, either. Lots of variables here, but the known variable is this MKII is insane.

Awesome clip...looking hard at a Senna now. Someone mentioned too many variables...tires, conditions, same/different drivers, familiarity with each car...etc. I think the Senna can generate 800 lbs of down force. Love to see GTR vs MKII and Senna vs 2020 NFGT...looks-wise, not even close. The Senna, with all the passive and active aero up front, hangs way too much in front of the center-line of the front hubs...looks like it needs braces due to huge overbite. NFGT is just stunning.

Slicks vs Street tires, Track only vs Street, too many variables to make it an apples to apples comparison.

Senna would definitely be faster than a GT. Both are street legal cars on DOT tires. But like mccaretr1369 said The Senna GTR would be a good match for the MkII. Both are track only cars on slicks.
