Thanks for the post Paul! There's some good insight in those snippets.
Hopefully our concierge will be able to backfill some of the technical void.
I thought our '05-06 GTs came with a color brake caliper option.
Ed
The only colors I have seen on the 05-06s are red, silver and standard black.

Ford must not consider these three caliper paint options for the 05-06 GT's as "custom"....
And actually it was not silver but tungsten to match the car color (in 2006).:thumbsup
And interesting how the new brake calipers are now (I believe) branded Brembo which for the 05-06 model they were not. (although there was considerable internal discussions held on whether to put the Brembo (or Ford GT) logo on them.)

I have Aston Martin calipers on mine. ;-)
My blue 2005 FGT has some shade of grey. Did they use tungsten for the 2005 calipers? I looked up the 2006 "Ford Marketing Mix" and Ford lists the calipers as gun metal grey. I wish the 05-06s would have had some form of branding; they look too plain.

Me too, like Red Bull, they give you wings....
The color of your calipers are in a league onto their own - in GT world anyway - a nice shade of 'gold' from punishing that brake pedal. Sure hope that you aren't on the original brake fluid. :lol
You need to ask Not4n. He made them up. If you're interested, let me know what color and whether you want Ford GT or Brembo. I am his agent. You can pay for and collect at the rally. $10 for a set of 5 (American, not Canadian).
