Just thought I would let you Guys know how our final enduro race went.
Qualified second to a GT3 cup porsche in the dry then 5 minites before the start the heavens opened from there till the end 4 hours later the rain never let up [Gt no like rain at 40 deg] aquaplaning at 150 mph is not fun.we finished the race in 6th position beaten buy BMW M3 GTR,2 mitsi evo's, turbo toyota and a porsche carrera turbo,
The M3 beat us for the overall championship buy 2 points :thumbsdow but we did win our class 5000cc and over.:thumbsup
I now need traction control as we were unable to put power to tarmac.brakes were perfect as ABS worked a treat but 600 ftlb toque @ 2800 rpm does nothing for traction out of corners when raining cats and dogs.

Congrats. That picture cradling the baby is better than holding any trophy in the world. Well Done.

BTW, may the M3 explode spontaneously for no reason whatsoever....

Great results, you did us FGT owners proud!

You need to speak with Shadowman about traction control, although I don't think you will be shipping the car to CA. Maybe Bill needs a trip to New Zealand :)

That is nothing compared to flying to Australia. That is 17 hours!!!

It would be a nice trip, maybe Gimbal is nearby.

What on a DC3 just kidding non stop flight from L.A. to auckland is 12 hrs ,
Gimbal is at the bottom of the south island and i'm in the middle of the north island which is about 2 days drive or 2 hour flight.
I just love this forum its not just about cars its about people

Gimbal just emailed me a picture taken through his windshield as he was heading to his office this morning; snowing and snow all over and here we are just rolling into summer.

So close and yet so far away
