finally some numbers from my twin turbo car

Will you be out at the Monday RKC event, Kumar?

I think so...weather looks good for Monday night.

Cool, I'm going to try and make it also.

Kumar - nice job! And I really like the install from the one pic you posted. It looks really clean and almost like it would be stock.

Since it appears different than most TT's I've seen, can you provide some insight on the install, what you did different and post some more pics?

Really sweet.

I will post some progress pics from the build later today. Stupid rain needs to go away.

CONGRATS!!!!

Car looks very good and so does the dyno :biggrin

Once you do this you will never be able to go back :banana

:cheers

Here is a closer pic of the intake. We are working on a billet version that should be ready down the road and probably be silver to match the piping.

Here you can see the tailpipes and sort of where the turbos are located. The car sounds like a jet from behind.

Taylor spent some time integrating the boost controller into the dash. It looks great inside the car:

Still have to do a lot of cosmetic things, tune for race gas, and put on the Penskes. I'm off to Mexico for a week. I will have some updates in about 10 days.

Original numbers were at 16 degrees of timing and IATs around 120. We turned the timing down 2 degrees to be safe (at least until the meth is on)as I'm not too familiar with the limits of the GT motor. I've heard of Whippled guys running 18-20 degrees at the same boost levels and higher IATs. :eek Had a good 60-130 with a brand new GSX-R 1000 and it was dead even as I was reeling him in fast. I need to learn how to brake boost.

Before I leave, there are several members on the board I would like to thank for their help. I believe Taylor spoke with Torrie and Cody from ART several times and I think he even spoke with Jason Heffner before doing this. You guys are a helpful bunch.

Adios.

I like the black intake manifold. I would steer clear of to much bling. It takes away from the pure beauty of the machine.

badass! I like the boost controller integration too:thumbsup so tempting when you got one of those:wink

Congrats!! Looks Awesome. :cool

That car looks like it is itching to be run at the next Texas Mile. :driving:

Wow, that looks terrific!! Are you "really" going to Mexico or are you going to be posting some "Mexico" speed runs? :biggrin

That black intake does look great, I'm sure billet will look equally fantastic. Post up some sound clips too, please? :thumbsup

I'll have somethin' for ya in October Kumar. :)

Very nice setup! Great numbers and very clean. Are those the big Turbosmart BOVs?

Kumar, Taylor has posted a bunch, like really a lot, of terrific vids of your car over on the 6. You should cross link those vids here, I'm sure everyone would love to see them. Wow, you've really got an impressive machine!!! Well, an even MORE impressive machine!!! :thumbsup
:cheers

Here is a quick one I just found an hour ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eH1NaQroy6Y

There are more on the way. I just need my camera man with me when I run into some bikes and Supras out in Mexico.
