This project has taken some time to complete, but it has been worth the wait :thumbsup

This must be the lightest rotating wheel/brake option possible, and it sure feels like a big improvement in the handling department.
The BBS FI wheels are 8,75 x 19 fronts and weighs 7,4 kg, and the rears are 12 x 19 and weighs 8,9 kg.
Brakes are the Corvette ZR1 Brembo's, and I have used the front brakes on all corners (hence the GT is a mid engine car compared to the ZR1's front mounted power plant)
Car handles and stops like a dream - the only thing I would like is some Hoosiers in the front to match the rears, car got quite understeery when I was pushing.

The pictures below are from a recent track day event where I took children with cancer for rides round the track - it was a great day, and a joy to see the smiles on the kids faces when I unleashed the 850 HP. :biggrin

Great looking car - nicely done!

Lookin good! Like the wheels. :cheers

Love the wheels, perhaps not in black though only because detail is difficult to see. Goes well with the rest of the car, though!

Well done all around!

Your car looks awesome! I have driven Brian AKA Stormcats Gt with the zr1 carbon brakes at the track many times .I must say they are awesome!
I was 10 mph faster down the front straight than in my car .I should also state he has a wonderful down force package.A front spoiler and rear wing.He has even done wind tunnel testing to optimize effectiveness .
Here is a video of me driving his car with him in it (at the rally)at Nola Motorsports park .If you can see the speedo it say 160ish on the front straight!

RØD GRØD MED FLØDE... (try that in Google translate haha)

The zr1 brakes are incredible. I have driven stormcats car as well, and only began to explore how effective they are. Maybe more cars will get ceramic brakes, and an option will come that will fit under OEM wheels.... Gt 500 to compete with the z28????

Your car looks great.

Great looking car, love the wheels and brakes

Beautiful color combo. How involved is the ZR1 brake converson?

Great wheels and set up. Very honorable thing you did for the kids as well.

It translates to "Roketman is sexy!"

Ed, you are wrong again. It translates as "RED cars are fastest." Under that grey heritage exterior beats a heart of RED.

This is the kind of stuff that might have happened had the Ford Special Ops guys had more time to develop the car....
Beautiful.
