GT,ers,
Ever have that perfect..make me speed song that fits your car to a T?
I,am watching this Tarantino movie called Death Proof by Grindhouse.
If you like Kurt Russell you,ll like this movie. I like this movie mainly because of the soundtrack and the car scenes. Russell plays a character called stunt man Mike and drives around looking for girls. Well there a scene where he,s in the car and this song starts the scene. The song is track #13 " Its so easy" its your high energy lets let her rip song. Beware if you play this song don't blame me for the results! Well I thinks its time for a little track 13 right about now! GGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..........BRay

PS. Anyone seen this movie????

no I have not seen it ,but could you sing a few verses ?

Great movie. Very gritty, but that is the whole point.

If you like techno, Sandstorm by Darude is phenomenial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSVk8c2RtME
The sound blends incredibly well with that of the GT ..... it' just plain intoxicating. Play it loud and you'll wind up in triple digit land ankle deep in go pedal.

I was entering a freeway onramp with my Mustang GT, when I first bought it. On came "Rock and Roll"' by Lead Zepline. My speedomiter, to say the least was, was nicely tested. I think that was a point where I started looking at the Ford GT. Now I need to be carefull as to what music is playing while on freeway onramps! :banana

What Triheart 7 said, plus Deep Purple's Highway Star. Fast cars as a metaphor for beautiful women. Can't beat it.

Metallica Black album gets my blood pumping.

cant drive 55....... enough said

Dazed and Confused... gets me every time.

If you like the high energy stuff, like Sandstorm, try System Addict (Plump DJs) or Atom Bomb (Fluke).

Phil Collins "In The Air Tonight"

Greatest high speed crusing song ever!:thumbsup

Turn it up and have a listen:

Cool Thread.

BTW Mark love your Biblical Quote.....I'll always recall fondly; Rally III 9:13, with a smile on my face.

I have this going full blast in some cars - but don't have much use for music in the GT....

Gotta be "Best of Super Tramp". Every cut on this CD is fantastic road music but I have to really crank the volume to overcome that wonderful Heffner "cat-back" header sound!
Good sounds either way!!

Without a doubt for me it is the opening song from the movie XXX. Feuer Frei by Rammstein. I have no idea what the words are but it gets the right foot heavy and creates a lot of movement in the shifter. :lol

:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup Especially "Goodbye Stranger" - an awsome driving song! :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

This thread reminds me of blasting around west Texas in the early '70s, top down in my first E-Type listening to Neil Diamond's Taproot Manuscript on the LearJet 8-track (yes, I'm that old!). The Jag had an Abarth exhaust which was in perfect tune with "Cracklin' Rosie" - a very upbeat song that is still my official Jaguar (pronounced Jag-you-are, with deference to our Neil) driving song! I'd try "Cracklin' Rosie" in the GT, but wouldn't that be cheating on my Jags? :cheers
