See, Detroit is an actual car town. If the weather is good, at night people are out in cars driving them places. :lol

I lived right off Woodward for 5 years so I don't go out there that much now, but I took the MP4 out and parked at Chipotle to get a burrito and a guy in town from California came over and asked "What exactly is going on here tonight that all these cars are out here?" I had to explain that nothing was going on, it was just summer and the weather is nice, and everyone brings out cars. The Motor City.

We in Michigan are also surrounded by water. So, weekends are competing for time v.s. many other events like Great lakes boating, cottages, golf and of course family time. Wednesdays with good weather is perfect to just take a nice drive before or after work, depending on work schedules.

Thanks Dave....good memories of R1...first time I saw a no stripe GT.....and Midnight Blue...kinda wish I hadn't as I'm sure I would have spec'd mine out differently.

WOW Dave, I did not know that many FGT's have ever been assembled in the past.
Looks like well over 70 GTs have assembled in the Motor City in the past.

Still can't beat the parking lot in Vegas. When we walked through and counted the cars in the parking garage, there was 52 more cars than the pics above. People like Vegas. :lol
