A couple of months ago we announced the availability of our bolt-in roll bar for all S197 (2005+) Mustang Coupes and the product has turned out to be one of our best sellers. Many of you here have or may be considering a GT500 or Boss 302 and this might be an accessory that you are interested in - especially if you want to track the car. Here are a few pics and of course more details and ordering info is available on our website.

In addition to the Race Red, we have almost an identical powdercoat color match for the competition orange. Last week we picked up what I think is the best color yet - a gunmetal gray that matches the accent color on the 2013 Laguna Secas.

Are the seat delete trim pieces available from another source? I assume on 2011' and up you can use the Ford Factory B302 trim but I am wondering about 05' thru 10'.

That URL doesn't leave much to question what they do.....

That bolt in role bar for the boss 302 looks great Kendall and Ryan. How is the tow hook project coming?:thumbsup:bow:cheers

Thanks for the great work on my GT

Looks super functional and high quality, as usual Kendall.
I'll be picking up a Taurus SHO within the week....got a roll bar in the works for that ??

Great looking set up. Will it fit the 2013 GT500? Do you have to keep the rear seat out after installation? Is drilling holes in the car sub-frame required (how is it mounted to the car)?

Our roll bar kits will fit the 2013 GT500, no problem. Yes, you need to keep the rear seat out after install. If you have a rear seat passenger, even a minor traffic accident could prove fatal. Not a good situation.

The main hoop bolts to new gusset plates that bolt-in in place of the (similar) OEM plates. Below you can see a pic of our gusset plates (production units are powdercoated in a wrinkle black finish), and our roll bar is bolted to these supplied gussets. It is extremely strong and NO cutting/drilling/welding is required. The rear tower brace is bolted in place. We ask the owner to drill (2) 5/16" holes per side to secure the tower brace. This, in addition to the shocks themselves bolting through the tower. This also contributes significantly to the rigidity of the car - and therefore performance. (You didn't think Rocketman's track video speed was because of skill did you?) :) I also included a pic of the rear cross brace.

A big thumbs up for Kendall and his Cool Tech roll bar. I just finished installing it in my 2008 GT500. Fits perfect and looks great, particularly against the Vapor silver. Thanks Kendall for a first class product.

looks fantastic. Was it easy to trim the rear seat delete kit?

I have the same car in Alloy and want to do the same.

Very easy. The installation instructions are spot on. I was pleasantly surprised how well everything fit. I am going to retrofit the new FRPP Recaros next.

Another satisfied customer ;)
