Clarkson ragging on the GT - again

He could be the entertaining clown without being the zero-credibility liar (e.g., Ford GT has a truck engine and gets 4 mpg), but I'd guess 95% of his viewing audience doesn't know what their tire pressures are supposed to be, so why change what works for him?

Clarkson had troubles with the "Cobra" antitheft system, which was available on the 101 original made cars for europe.
I have that system in my car as well, but someone like Clarkson is maybe not clever enough, or not willing, to read the booklet about the Cobrasystem where, it was to be honest a bit tricky explained, how the system works.

Thank you "ThatPhilBrettGuy",

i did not dare to describe JC as a bit retarded, but that's maybe the case, because i got used to take that small keycard and the keys in the pocket of my trousers very quickly !

If anyone actually watched the show, Clarkson said he didn't like the NSX and thought the GT looked fantastic...

But I agree...I think the BBC Top Gear has "jumped the shark"...routines getting old

He doesn't deserve a GT...

Say what you may re: Clarkson...the 'dude' as made a bundle doing what he does!

'Gotta admire that...no? :wink

Sarcasm is a lot of fun, but it wont make you any friends. That said, Clarkson's popularity does reflect the good taste of his fans.

Seriously? :skep

I wasn't being even a BIT sarcastic.

And as far as "(making me) any friends" is concerned...'not really a prime consideration re: what I post, sir. Making posts that conform to "P.C.", or forum "group think" in any way, shape or form has never been 'my thing'...so to speak...unless said views reflect my own. :leaving:

Lighten up, Francis. I'm pretty sure he was talking about Clarkson being sarcastic.

Sarchasm. The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person who doesn't get it. :lol

Lighten up, Francis.

Classic, Stripes!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...'apologies to John, then.

Reading comprehension has never been a strongpoint of mine...and it gets even worse when I've been up 30-some-odd hours straight.

'Get a little cranky about then, too.

who cares about that Clown !!

Speaking of abusing a lime green Huracan (as pointed out by jalop).

Accepted, all meant in fun.

I just watched it. He kept ragging on the theft system, but at the end he said it was OK, but wasn't very enthusiastic about it - "not for me" is what I think he said.

Thanks. I totally 'git' that now, John. But, like I said.......................:willy:willy:willy :bang

I've been watching TG for 15 years. He could've said alot worse, and everyone knows he's suppose to rag on all cars, especially american.
Crowd loved it when it came on screen.

You guys have to remember that the show is somewhat scripted. If it doesn't stir up feelings amongst it's viewers, than it is a boring show and wouldn't be on as long as it has been :) If Jeremy said something about the GT that appealed to everyone, we would have no passion about the particular car, about him or the show.
ie: "In ending, the Ford GT will give you 24-26mpg in its e-gear, while allowing you to have 550hp at a moments notice when needed or wanted... and at a good/fair price"

There, we just satisfied prius owners and Hemi owners..... BORING!!!!

:)

Timmy just made a funny :)

I did like the American TG where they went into Alaska climbed some mountain with big old 4X4. On the big screen it was awesome in my book....but hey I'm just an old shop guy from Michigan....we are easy to entertain
