The concierges were working the phones today-I got the call as well. Nice to come on the same day as the ordering options expand. I have gone 13 years without cupholders on my 05 so I don't need them on the NGT either.

Another Opinion:

Actually the cup holders on the New FGT are very functional. On my 1600 mile road trip to Atlanta from Detroit and back, I
always had a coffee in one ….and a water in the other.

There are actually times with the Old 2006 Ford GT I want to make a quick trip to Pantera Bread for a coffee and I have to take another vehicle since
it has NO cupholder.....

Thanks DBK for the awesome pictures. This Carbon spec is just fantastic! My heart rate went through the roof after seeing this. While every GT is special, the folks at Ford definitely hit a grand slam with this one.
Well... if Ford thinks I’m worthy of a NGT the carbon my be my first choice )))

I am also glad for the 3 year delay since now I will take delivery of a Carbon series in Feb 2019 - Lightening Blue with the two carbon stripes. This is the GT to own. It really should be the base car, though with the 2019 price increase, the Carbon series charge, tax and license and Xpel treatment, it will be nearly $650k out the door. So I skipped the accent stripe and settled for red brake calipers. Anyway, I prefer the carbon fiber on the rear view mirrors over the accent paint.
