^^^ Yes, the "wording" are symbols, vs the words if I recall correctly.

Symbols only, because to use text, the text would have to be in both English and French.

Please elaborate.

I'm not speaking of cars made before the cutout date, regardless of the 1st country they are sold in. But the cars made after ~Aug 06 for export only. I assume would not meet Federal standards, thus may be problematic to register in some states, eg. CA form shown below box #6. Is there a way around this, maybe. Is this a problem in other states?

Has anyone registered a car made after 8/06 in the USA?

All Ford GTs produced will meet US standards thus all 4038 Ford GTs built can be registered in the US.

Canadian differences include;
NO MCINTOSH OPTION
GAUGES HAVE SYMBOLS INSTEAD OF WORDS
REAR BUMPER EXTENSION
DAYTINE RUNNING LIGHTS

Sounds definitive from a really great source who would know.

No Mac sub tumor is a serious plus in my view.

Gauge symbols vs. words, meh.

Bumper extension and running lights easily "corrected".

Canadian cars sound like a value.

Why no mac option? What regulation excludes that in Canada, eh?

My understanding up here in Canada was that because of the so called extra weight of Bumper extension and front Styrofoam piece, eliminated the Mac Stereo because the sub woofer weighs 70 lbs. We also had to order BBS mags, no option on standard rims. Also all Canadian cars have red calipers except my Heritage has grey ones.

70lbs!
Holy Cow,...that explains why my 2 option car is so fast!

I, being in Canada have only seen pictures of the Mac Stereo, and as for the weight I stated, it is just what I was told when ordering my cars. I guess less weight would be faster.

The McIntosh does not weigh anywhere close to 70 lbs. the sub, enclosure, amp and all is well under half that. I bet it's not 15 lbs

I stand corrected. Thx Shelby. The sound of the car is better than any stereo anyway. Turned 69,000 miles on my driver yesterday. Still snow on the ground up here.

The Shaker 1000 sub-woofer/amp in the GT500 is much larger than the GT system, and it weighs about 50 lbs.

I would agree with that,, there is some additional weight for the tweeters and extra wiring etc but in total it's no where near 70lbs for sure and probably less than 25 lbs

BJ Has them sitting side by side. The car with miles has the bumper extension spacers taken out. The wrapper car is as is. It's reported with 5 kilometers which would be about 3 miles

That's a great buy IMHO....and for sure an excellent sale with the CAN exchange. I wonder how how we'll view it 10 yrs from now.

500K for the Boss 9

plus buyers premium and "if sold back into Canada" exchange and taxes puts it at $700.000.00 on the road.
WOW!!!

Wow is right. Maybe I should keep my Heritage another ten years.
