Well Guys,
I have just made a big decision on my 2005 Quicksilver Ford GT I am rebuilding. I have been on the phone with Rich at the GT Guys and am sending my car to them this weekend and they are going to try their best and have it ready for the Rally. I just got home yesterday from two week hospital stay including major surgery from motorcycle accident and have a have a bit of a road to recovery ahead which keeps me from working on the car. I know I have picked the best place to have it finished and going to be so anxiuos to see it when it is finished.Of course this means that I will receive it at the rally with everybody there and have never driven it !!
I look so forward to the Rally and meeting everyone and just wasnt going to miss it if I could help it in anyway !! Hope to see everyone there.

HEY! We'll hafta compare scars one day! :rofl :thumbsup :cheers

"I know I have picked the best place to have it finished..."

No one's gunna argue with that!

sorry to hear about your accident, glad to hear your car and you will be at the rally. look forward to meet you. :cheers

Well Empty as far as the scar, I look like I have a zipper from below my belly button up to my sternum !! In fact the staples are still in so the "zipper" description.

Steve

Looking forward to seeing it in Texas!

Here's wishing you a speedy recovery. What a celebration you'll have when you are feeling better...

See you in TX fellow Quicksilver owner.

Mine is "S" shaped, about 12" long, and runs from the left side of 'left knee down the side of the shin bone. The others are too puny to mention! :lol :thumbsup

And, yup! My 'sturgeon' did the staple thing too. 'Scar looks like a zipper - or a one rail RR track!

...Welcome to "Club Stoopid"! :biggrin :cheers

Get well my friend.

Get well quickly.

Looking forward to seeing you and your GT in Texas.

Texans heal quick. Here's to a speedy recovery!:cheers

Steve,

Last time I saw a post from you, you were headed to Louisiana for a Supercross event. I thought you were watching not participating. :eek
I love dirt bikes more than cars but have finally decided I am to old. Take care, Listen to the Dr. and take it from a fellow bike lover, The GT is a great replacement for a speed junkie!!!

Larry

See you at the Rally

Can we get more details on the motorcycle accident? Street or dirt? Hope no one else was injured. Hope you get well quick. Been there done that. Cant go through airports without alarm going off. Got a metal plate in my wrist and one screwed to my heel. Have about 10 scars here and there. Still kicking and still riding!

The rally is always the right decision!

See you there, and get well soon.

Welcome to MY world!

Just curious - did YOUR 'sturgeon' tell YOU you'd have no pblm re: passing thru airport security? That was what mine told me...and I send missiles to Russia going thru darn near any airport you wanna mention. :bored

Get well....from another Quicksilver owner. Sounds like you had significant abdominal injuries. See you in Austin. Peace, AC
