I'd like to learn about the inlet tubes (after the intercoolers) and their shape, especially the indentation in the top (where the writing is)

+1.. I'm sure the Rib adds strength to keep it from bellowing out under pressure.. the serpentine shape is interesting maybe anti flame flash back protection or tuned for sound, or maybe it's just the gentle curves to make the transition from point "A" to "B", Or maybe that one is just a fixture tube to hold the intercooler until more of the body is there to hold it in place " it does say " for Start up only" , or maybe we can just ask Raj or Larry in a couple or weeks.. :willy The race cars are straight and smoothe. no serpentine..

We would be in the dark without DBK!
Thanks buddy for sharing! It makes GT ownership an unbelievable experience like no other!

+1 with Ron

Great ideas, had not considered it's a temp piece (even though I did zoom in as far as possible to read the writing).

Sweet!

Look how thin those BBS-supplied suspension forgings are! Wow!

The inlet tube must be a temporary piece. It can't fit in the buttress.

No, that is the component that is in there permanently. It's wide, but it's slim.

why does it say for start up only... what do they mean by that?

Disregard the writing.

I will disregard the writing

Ah. Got it.

Very fortunate to have a 2017 GT. A few more photos of this amazing car being built:

Nick,

Nice meeting you at COTA. Hope you have the 350R coil pack wiring sorted out. New FGT looks great!

After a brief delay, this thread is back. :lol

What is the main purpose of that heavy looking rear Aluminium bar ? Looks like bumper crash requirement or is it needed for the engine ?

Great pictures, don't stop posting
