Barrett-Jackson GT Forum Dinner - 2009

Arizona guys!
Regret I have had to head home. My father in law passed away this morning.
He was 93, a silver star vet who jumped in on D Day with the 101st and fought all the way to Bastone.
Spent his career as a firefighter. Frank A Lange RIP.
God bless his soul and America,
Daniel

A true American hero from "The Greatest Generation". We owe our freedom to men like Frank Lange - most of us have no concept of what they endured. God Bless you and your family.

What a motley looking crew. Couldn't somebody give PL510 Jeff something to stand on like DBK?

Bony, please give my condolences to Lorna. I thought you said the guy was Polish?

OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND LORNA AT THIS SAD TIME. GOD BLESS FRANK A TRUE AMERICAN HERO. Tomy & Sue Hamon

Daniel - Very sorry for your loss. Fathers and mothers are irreplaceable - yet I find that prior to every major decision I make in life, I thinK "What would mom or dad have done here?" - so they are always with me, in spirit and in memory.

My Best......

Lorna and Dan, my best to you both. Life goes on...........GO BLU

Now I have to share that it was a true pleasure to visit with everyone even though the time was short at the wonderful dinner.

Certainly I enjoyed the auctions; in fact we visited 3 of them and looked to purchase one of the gals that successfully went across the blocks however the cards were not stacked in our favor as such in the end it was in the purest sense; simply a wonderful week-end surrounded by wonderful friends and great people

There were an endless number of wonderful gals under the tents and if we had not focused on a particular one at this time it would have been very easy to bring home several.

I felt that prices were softer when compared to last year and yet in no way did I feel that the bottom had fallen out of the market; the best of the best weathered the test of time and those a bit less desirable road across the blocks on the coat tails of emotional dollars as such this audience IMO was a bit more limited this year.

It was a great time in a wonderful community; an event filled week-end that I would recommend that all participate in at least once. Certainly the TV makes it easy to view some of the events and action from afar and yet the sensations experienced once on site cannot be duplicated from afar much less fully conveyed in words.

Certainly a cool place to find a special gal but even more so it is simply an extreme automotive event/gathering.

Takes care
