OK, I admit it, I have a problem. The first step toward recovery it to admit you have a problem. What is the next step? Probably avoid the crack dealers out there (Shelby).

Anyway, I picked up Shelby's beautiful 81 mile Quicksilver GT about two weeks ago. (and PLEASE don't tell Manny, I will never live it down)

Here are a few photos.

In the trailer:

Shelby's showroom. Look close and you will see my F430 in the glass. Didn't drive it much, always chose the GT.

In my shop in Idaho getting cleaned up, though it was perfectly detailed when I picked it up.

Final resting place, in the hangar next to the yellow one.

I intend to remove the black side stripe and mount up a set of black wheels.

Is it possible to O.D. on GTs?

Thanks Shelby.

Steps?

One GT for each step in the "Program" ?? :biggrin I see a few more in your future, Chris.

Congratulations! Wear it well.

I think without the black side stripes, and with black wheels it will look extra hot.
Well done.

Wow--I have been looking (lusting ) at that one on Shelby's site--gorgeous. Congrats.

Yellow & Silver

Chris,

Wow, in my opinion, the ultimate pair of GTs. Yellow and Silver, both with black stripes. Nice!!! :thumbsup :cheers

Wow, I don't even know you and I hate you! Just kidding, love your cars, what an awesome looking shop. Big congrats to you.

Well done Chris, the 2 most rare colors, together!

Absolutely wonderful news. As Bannister once said owning multiple GTs is a disease, but what a wonderful disease.

I got close to buying a Sliver no stripe GT once with the intentions of redoing the inside with Red. Did not materialize though.

I had similiar thoughts. I did not know whether to loathe you or give you congrats. :wink

Guess it is a good thing I am not the jealous type. :lol Congrats and enjoy. :thumbsup

How many is that now??? :cheers

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. But the RED one is the best, no?

Congrats Chris, and of course you KNOW i love the Quicksilver !

Steve

Welcome to the "Silver Club" Chris.:cheers And yes Frank, my red is still my favorite.:thumbsup

Living in two states, one for each. I'm wondering what took you so long. :wink That's why I have two.

Two? I believe he now has five... or six, I've lost count!

Congratulations Chris!

Rob

Hey C!! Nice addition !! :thumbsup

How many is that now??? :cheers

Ok, if memory serves correct Chris has:
Heritage
Red with White stripe in Heritage layout TWIN TURBO (Camillo/Hefner car)
Midnight Blue
White
Quick Silver
Yellow

That brings the total to 6 GTs. That is AWESOME! (Peak, your gonna have to step up your game :biggrin )

Chris was an absolute pleasure to deal with. His trades were some of the nicest, cleanest trade-ins I have ever taken on trade. MUCH APPRECIATE Chris. :thumbsup

Nice addition, Chris. Enjoy them all!!!

:thumbsup :cheers :thumbsup

HA.........
I always knew you would not be able to resist the understated beauty of the quicksilvers. :banana:banana:banana:banana:banana

Now I can say---it wasn't me... it was that other guy in the silver gt.

Enjoy it in good health.

Manny

You should set a goal of one of every color! Tungsten would look nice

...How many is that now??? :cheers

Well, ah, I guess that would make six. I am so ashamed. Hey, I admitted I had a problem. :wink

Seriously though, I have thought about this obsession. I can say that if Ford where still making the GT I would probably only own one of them. There is something about the car being out of production that makes me want to hoard them. :lol

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. But the RED one is the best, no?

Well, it'd be hard to say which is the best. I will give you this though Frank, the TT red is definitely the fastest, thanks to Mr. Heffner. :biggrin Of course the white one will always hold a special place in my heart. There is just something about one's first love...
