A Wow Weekend at The Texas Mile

Trent

No doubt. Thanks for shipping it down.:cheers
WOW......223!!!!

Congrats, and I can't wait to see the episode. :cheers

There was no guarantee I'd be on the show. They shot a lot of people and cars for just a 30 minute show so we'll have to wait to see.
Congrats Kieth. I puckered when you lost traction in 2nd. I wish it was cold for the cars, but warmer for us. Probably the coldest late March weekend ever. See you soon.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that little detail. When the boost kicked in in 2nd gear she did a little sideways dance. Cold tires and track. Without that I may have hit 225.:eek

Hey Keith, I was just wondering, did you trailer the car there or did you drive it?

I have driven down there before but it's 800 miles roundtrip and I had Hoosiers and race gas in the car so I trailered it this time. I was glad because we ran through tornado force winds and rain on the way.

That was all definitely wow Keith. Congratulations again. Really hope the footage makes it on supercars exposed and they don't totally butcher the facts :lol

Congratulations once again Keith. I couldn't be happier for you and I thank you for keeping me updated throughout the weekend. I can't wait to see some of the in car footage!

Congrats Keith It was good seeing you all again. Keep me posted about any up coming bike trips. :cheers

Wow :thumbsup

Look forward to seeing "Supercars Exposed".

:willy:willy HOLY MOLY....223MPH IN THE STANDING MILE...HOLY MOLY :willy:willy

223 MPH - WOW - I wish for the day I can break 200...

Many Many Congrats and in the words of BONY, Bravo!

congrats Texasgt, that was an awsome run, it was nice talking to you even if it was for a second, hope to catch up with you in the upcoming events.:cheers

The Texas Mile has posted the preliminary raw speeds of all cars and bikes that ran this weekend. They had over 1267 passes.:eek I didn't count all the competitors but I imagine they had close to 200 vehicles compete.

Crossreferencing the assigned race numbers with the driver info has the early results as follows but don't quote me on this, I may have missed one:

Fastest car of the event: Black Supra #1 How apt (Streetkings car?) - 246 mph

Second: Red Supra #41 - 239 mph

Third:Silver EVOMS Porsche - 231 mph (I think)

Fourth: Yellow GT #732 (my car) - 223 mph

Fifth: Silver GT # 215 (Codys car) - 221 mph

I didn't check further than that and I don't have all the competitors info to cross reference, but all the faster speeds seem to be bikes. The fastest vehicle of the event was a Hayabusa at 252 mph.

What the hell are we gonna have to do to catch those dang Supras?? How fast would they run in a mile and a half?

the supras can be topped at some point. Keep in mind the tuners have had 12-15 years of working on and making parts for those cars. Give the gt's a few more years and it will happen.

Going 252 on two wheels is insane!!!! :eek

That take more stones than I have. Just thinking about it makes me :willy:willy

Thanks for posting the stats. :cheers
