Great news..ty Sam if this keeps up I can see it all 10 years from now " Ford's new Mustang pushing 1100 HP"...........Ya right....:lol

I don't understand why this is necessary. They'd better do something to be able to put wider tires on the car. 305 is the max tire on the rear and with all that power it's not sufficient

"With the new Camaro ZL1 making 570hp, most believe that the new 5.8 liter GT-500 will pack 600hp at least..."

....and then G.M. will top THAT...then Ford will top THAT...then.................................

(Someone needs to inform S.H. that the Camaro actually will produce 580 h.p.)

Actually 335s fit fine with modified wheels. Have em on my GT500. Still pretty traction limited.

Did you have to clearance the inside wall of the wheel wells?

how wide wheels did you put under? read on teamshelby a guy widened the alcoa wheel to 11" .75 to fit these 335 wheels. what tires are you using!

I think the unveiling is tomorrow evening in LA.

I think the unveiling is tomorrow evening in LA.

Tuesday, the 15th. The rear end is much improved in my opinion.

Intro is tomorrow and there are two pieces of information which I think will shock people. I'll be interested to see the reaction. One of the two pieces of info is staggering for a Mustang.

Wow, Sounds super interesting and I am sure a lot of us would guess one of those shockers is an IRS.

Nope. No IRS.

Nope. No IRS.

That's shocking!

I'm guessing....

Twin Turbos
Launch Control
All Wheel Drive

But regardless, they better do something about that rear fascia.

Nope

Okay last 4 guesses and then I give up.

Diesel powered engines with 50 Mpg
Variable boost Turbo/SC
Four Door version
Paddle shift with an 8 speed transmission

An all electric version powered by surplus solar panels.

That's shocking!

It's not a new model, so it shouldn't be. The IRS Mustang debate will never end. Mustangs get drag raced way more than they get road raced.

Air bag suspension, 'wheelie bar' option...either/or. :biggrin

(I really cannot believe the 'Stangs still won't be getting IRS units. In this day and age that's like saying, 'We're gunna stay with carburetors and dual point distributors.')
