No you are not. Year 3 is done. It's been allocated. If you were on the original waitlist, you were one of the 250 year 3 allocations. The only cars left to be allocated are year 4.

Dave,
Are they at a sustainable production rate that will support 250 cars per year now? Can they produce more than 5 cars per week if necessary?

Will they let us update our application or is it just a lotto now?

When I was at Multimatic I was told that 5 cars a week is the cap because the tubs need to sit in the autoclave (not sure that's the right word) for an entire day so no more than one per day can be built Monday through Friday assuming everything goes right. Some work is being done on Saturdays to partially catch up but it didn't sound like a tub was being built on Saturday. Perhaps somebody with better info can chime in here and correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct in your word and the usage Chip. It is a big pressure cooker.

Thank you Chip, I guess an additional autoclave is out of the question.

big money but you would think they would have more than one autoclave for producing a car of this caliber and cost. not only that but it could be used in the future for other projects.

Are they working exclusively for Ford?

Great Company, Great Owner and Great Team all around!!

"They work with many companies." That's why their Autoclave is so busy.

Joe

Thanks for that detailed info on Multimatic spartan! That autoclave is cool. I have some tiny ones in my dental office!

Its my understanding that MNV (multimatic niche vehicles) is the specific division that is handling the production of our cars. This division is what built the Aston One77, and is also working on the Mercedes Project One.

While not fighting for the autoclave in Canada, they also make taxis:

Thank you Chip, I guess an additional autoclave is out of the question.

I specifically asked that question and was told no, there would not be another autoclave to build Ford GT tubs.
