2016 Pebble Beach Concours Week

Very cool to see all the original GT40s lined up with Monterey Bay as the backdrop! Lot's of crazy hats worn by the ladies, many beautiful Italian women & chilly weather - yup, typical Peeble Beach Concours.

For some reason the sound is not working, which is the main reason I posted the video in the first place.

Concourso Italiano on Saturday at Bayonet Golf Course. ByeEnzo's Miura was there to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Miura.

Some photo's of my friends cars from the the NW at Pebble Beach. Dick Mattei won best in show. And of course some really special Ford GT's. Byron Sandborn 1974 2002 Turbo came in 3rd in his class.

I did look at all of the cars but I spent most of my time studying the Ford GTs. I couldn't believe they were all there in one place at the same time. That may not happen again for a long time. So cool! I ran into many GT forum members which was also nice.

Ed

PS Congrats Jeff to your friends!

Cameron Healy (with hat) and Rod Emory (restorer) next to Cameron's 1952 Le Mans winning Porsche 1100. This is the very first Porsche to win at Le Mans. Awarded first in class and was on the Driveway Podium with a top 3 for all racing cars yesterday at Pebble Beach Concours. A very special car with a great owner and one of the best metal benders I know.

Raj Nair: "You need a stack of $100 bills this high to buy the car."
Jay Leno: "Hmmm. I'm pretty sure I have that in my hotel room."

Pretty funny!

Great pictures everyone. Fun weekend. I came home early on Sunday because I had to drive to Sacramento and my AC went out driving down on Thursday. I didn't want to cook the wife a second time.

It was great to run into and hang out with a bunch of forum members and sorry that we didn't run into all of you down in Pebble Beach.

I spit soda out my nose Paul.

That's pretty cool Frank. I can't wait to see your other party tricks in Austin.

The best part is he wasn't even drinking soda at the time!

Best not to encourage him Paul.

I can't believe how small the hood and trunk lids are! ...I mean, I had a pretty good idea that Ford was going to make them so small but in the back of my mind I guess I was still hoping to see the whole front and back of the car to open up. I guess that engine maintenance will be a bit tricky!

I guess that engine maintenance will be a bit tricky!

We won't be easily changing plugs, etc on the NGT like we do on our '05-06 GTs. Maintenance will be done by the dealer.

A friend sent me these, read the poster board. Pretty cool
