Sure, just use photoshop.

No such thing. Just a marketing ploy Andy Houses uses to get your attention to try to buy your exsisting GT.

If they build it, we will buy it...again. And hopefully we could count on things like its gauges and 1/2 shaft bolts holding up. :wink

(I've really liked that design/rendering since day one. In fact, truth be told, I much prefer its looks to that of the present GTs.)

Of course we would all stand in line to buy one,,,,,,killer looking car, imagine the GT with high tech options

It's not a "realistic" design. From the windshield up is pretty much flat. The mirrors are the size of quarters, etc. cool photoshop, but wouldn't really make to be a very usable car.

The same could be said of the Countach to some degree, no?

Semi-F1 seating might be in order!

Isn't one of those FGT design contest drawings from about a year ago where Camilo's was far and away the best design but got out voted by Donk owners?

Imagine how much you would like it with a small block cheby in it! :lol Couldn't resist, it is better than the garage teasing isn't it? :wink

For those wondering, Donk; http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=donk&qpvt=donk&FORM=IGRE

It needs a really big Gurney Bubble!

Nope. In this case it definitely ought to be a Ford in a Ford. (But, if we be talkin' Deuce 3 windows.............!)

Looks very cool, like a Lambo and Ford got together and created that! I just can't figure out how the doors and windows actually work on that thing...:)

:frown

There just is not any legitimate reason to do that.

That rendering was one of three in Road and Track last year, in an article that was hyping- up a new GT. I don't think there'll ever be another GT - the planets aligned just right the last time, halo car to celebrate the centenary etc, and this won't happen again. However, at the NOLA rally someone "in the know" mentioned that members of the old design team were working on a new vehicle that you would buy without an engine and then get Jack Roush to supply and install it, thus getting around all the safety/emissions constraints etc. Don't know how mature this idea is....

IOW it would be classified as a "kit car"! That's a darn good idea!!! :thumbsup:thumbsup

Yes there is - fitment.

Yes there is - fitment.

There is no place a SBC can go that a SBF can't.

It is about doing it on the cheap.

If you want to have a SBC, there are plenty of GM platforms in which you can place them.

Put a Ford in your Ford.

As I recall, the SBC is about an inch shorter in length (w/short water pump), and a couple inches lower in height than the 351W. I think they're both about 22" wide??? Sometimes that makes all the diff...

If it makes you feel any better, there's a '55 Chev running around my area with a 5.4 mod motor in it!!! 'Runs Wash. 'plate "HERETIC"!

That does make me feel a little better. :thumbsup

You can overcome length issues fairly easy with today's electric water pumps etc.

EP, you are correct: When I was building my MG Midget hot rod I squeezed in a 383 SBC (just) but there was no way the SBF would go in. Also, cheapest horsepower you can get is SBC - 501 dynoed HP for $4200 using all-new parts, try doing that with a Ford!

Yeah, but try to convince a concrete, hardcore Ford guy like '12 that that's actually the case! :rofl

I believe it was a hardcore Ford guy who once opined: "You can shoehorn a SBF into anything if you have a big enough hammer...and a Sawzall...and a cuttin' torch...and a bit of square tubing...and a modded/relocated radiator...and sheet metal tools...and............." :rofl

(Sorry, '12! I'll shuddup now!)

I am truly a rotten person...
