2005 ford gt pre build tungsten?

Yes. The car was heritage blue with no stripe before. I can't recall if it was wrecked or not. This person bought it when Mike Shields bought Saleen and it's assets, and unloaded most of what they had left. I'd see it periodically on Woodward by my house.

Interesting, I think this was the heritage blue that had NO stripe that they used for winter testing?.Will get a hold of Rich/Dennis............I wonder if it was that car would it be more unique going back to the blue or keeping it tungsten...............There is a picture in Freds year book with all the test drivers in winter outfits ...if its the same car......

Here is a couple of pictures of the car in question. I've got one of the car at Wixom, just after it was built, but I'm still looking for it through my thousands of pictures of GT stuff.

Here are a couple pictures of it in Tungsten Silver:
The first shot I took in Saleen's Troy plant lobby in September, 2006, the second shot was taken at a C&C type gathering at Auto Zone (an independent automobilia/newsstand shop, not the car parts place) in Birmingham, MI. I have no record of it being damaged. As a Ford Test car though, I can certainly imagine that it might be in want a touch-up before sale. Story I heard was that a certain Saleen exec had the car "tagged", and had it repainted Tungsten Silver at his request, but was never allowed to take delivery of the car.

Just got off the phone with Gordon, got most of the story......It is pb3 the Mirrors are parallel, there is a pulley and ford exhaust......it was not rebodied but completely rebuilt...everything is stamped pb and if you look close at the clam shell, the seems are loaded in...........typical for that pb series....before the band aid clips.......
Its been driven and a real title has been produced, Dbk, would know what im saying but it went through shields to gordon with all the cancelled checks from saleen all the ways through to make it legit..........
