I've never seen a Whipple or TT time from the track. The fastest I've seen is a pulley/tune car with a shot of the juice that went 10.4@144. Car and Driver tested the first of Heffner's turbo cars and went something like 11.1@139, but having driven that car, I can tell you it's a whole lot faster than that. I'd say mid 140s at a real track.
Wonder why no one has run a tt or whipple at least once just to see? I would think the twins could get into the 9's?
We'll be at a high speed shootout in two weeks. There should be a TT quarter time from that, even though it's not going to be from a dragstrip.

There will be several twin turbo and Whipple GTs at the Texas Mile in a couple of weeks. I expect most will have performance meters installed so we'll be able to see some comparisons finally.
And nobody will be sworn to secrecy.....
