IMO your assessment of a GT needing a Whipple or TT is probably accurate; however, it would be interesting to learn of the results vs a car with only the pulley swap, because that's what you are more likely to find.

I actually had made some posts prior I think? My username didn't work and had to open another one. I definately have been browsing this forum for a long time. I would love to own a Ford GT! Too many awesome cars and not enough money!

I hear ya on the money thing. After walking through Jay Lenos' garage and seeing his collection and the millions and millions he must have spent, I could think of others I would add. (It's a sickness)

When it was a Stage 5 the only dyno I did was on an AWD Mustang dyno and it did 520 AWHP as reported in the European Car Magazine article. We had some problems with an intake pipe coming off we had dyno'd higher than that the night before, like 580 AWHP if I remember correctly. European Car tested it in the quarter at 11.2 @ 132 mph.

The 644 rwhp is with the GT700 kit and I have not run it down the dragstrip. But as I mentioned others with the same kit are running high 10's at 134-136 mph.

What is the quickest and fastest (ET/MPH) that anyone has run with there Ford GT with only a pulley tune & exhaust change and stock tires.
I'am curious to know, I might go and test my car in the next few weeks.....
