Hello and welcome!
SAAC NORCAL will have their usual parking coral for members. We had a nice group of GT's at the track on Saturday. Check out their web site, you must be a member and buy your tickets through them. We will also have a group parked at Concourso on Friday, check out the thread started by Awsum GT.
Be sure to register on the California owner's registry as well.

Anybody else excited? I'M EXCITED!!!

One thing DBK... can you arrange for some detailers to be on hand. Especially for those folks driving in. I know the beasts will need a shower/shave upon arrival and maybe after track day.
 
Fubar, I have a guy that does mine and does a very good job. If you guys are interested I could have him set something up.

That sounds great. I assumed there would be several folks that need to clean them up a bit. I'll be glad to annie up for a detail (to justify his travel out there) but 10 or 15 quick wash/wax is probably more realistic.

Thanks for the information - I joined SAAC today, and look forward to the SAAC NORCAL associations, once Tioga Pass opens. I downloaded the World Registry "New FORD GT" form, but haven't found the California Owner's Registry yet - perhaps that will come once the SAAC membership is approved...Thanks again.

Hwy 1 Pacific Coast Hwy GTs

Ok - it sounds like Cannibal, Black Ice, Tom P (leave the trailer at home - I'm leaving the wife at home so I have the pasenger seat for my gear) & me so far for the Hwy 1 trip. Shadowman - let's put some miles on that girl of yours. Join us! Anyone else? Minimal potty breaks & lots of fun!

I may hook up with you guys instead of doing the desert run via Scottsdale. I would have to meet you guys in Monterey. No Bony, I haven't defected yet. Just giving it some thought. :confused

Dave...My wife, daughter and I will be attending! I just made the reservations at the Fairmont in Newport Beach and will put the check for the 3 of us and the registration paper-work in the mail to you today.

Had lunch with GT Tech and Fred Goodnow today. Fred is in to attend as well as Rich, and I talked to Gene Martindale (otherwise known as "the driver") and he will be attending also. :cheers

I've been told not to promise they will make it at this point, but I also talked to Oliver Kuttner, and deadlines permitting, they would like to bring the Kuttner-Doran Ford GT race car (from www.FordGT.TV) to the event! Apparently the GT is even better than they hoped. I certainly hope they can make it out; that would be an awesome bonus! Especially if we could see it in action at El Toro :eek

Pit stop in Malibu?

Hi all,

I just sent in my $. I live on the coast in Malibu and was wondering if a caravan was coming by on the way to the rally? Would love to hook up an join in. I can also offer up a great rest stop. Beverages, bathrooms, and a car wash before the final leg?
