Absolutely amazing my friend! I saw it on IG but was waiting for the Forum Reveal. The photos are crazy. I can't wait to see them together in real life!
The 1967 12 hours of Sebring winning GT Mk IV. 55 years ago the driving suits and the cars were advertisement free which looks odd today. This was the only major race win by a yellow Ford GT. Bruce Mclaren is only 29 years old here. 3 years later he would die in a crash at Goodwood testing a car he designed. Andretti was 27 years old.
All I can say is "WOW!"
What a unique trio.
The night photo is priceless.
Couldn't happen to a better family.
Congratulations, and enjoy to the fullest extent possible. Life is too short, and the world is too crazy.
We need photos and VIDEOS from the track.
Absolutely amazing! Well-deserved and earned! Fess up - how much time have spent just quietly sitting in it and thinking "This is awesome!"? You can answer in hours if it is easier.
Wow, what an awesome addition. You made the right move even though it might have stung a bit. Long term you will forget the cost but not the pleasure of owning all 3. Being able to display all 3 in person would be just over the top. Driving all three would be even better. Congratulations and well deserved!
Chip - After staring-at / drooling over your Mk II I think your NGT would look even more cool with the white center stripe, FORD windshield lettering and white roundels ... looks so awesome
Of course my problem is, I can't leave anything alone
WOW! This is indeed awesome.
So glad for you my friend.
That's indeed some trio you have going there.
When I see this it makes me glad I'm part of this forum and a Ford man.
Congrats from my dad too. We're both stoked for you and Peggy.
