Stillen lists Gibson headers and cats. Are they any good?

Thanks for the info  They are actually 1-3/4" JBA headers and they have two versions which are good. one with a silver coating and one with a titanium coating. I used to own a ford truck that i put jba headers on.

I would Like to see the routing downstream.

I hope you’re aware of how blatantly loud the car will be

My cars are registered to a county in Arizona that has no emmissions, so no cats for me. I use ear plugs when I drive my camaro on the street. Will do the same with my GT if necessary...

When you are moving, you leave all the sound behind you.

But the guy with less power stuck behind you has to listen to it, and wish he had it too! Beautiful sound!!!

Agree with Ron. I had OEM manifolds, cat delete, and xpipe. It was fun for awhile, but if your intend to really drive your car it will get old. If you just do periodic short trips it may be tolerable. Either way, it reversible. Enjoy.

i've had the JBAs on my blue GT for about 10 years. I really like them sounds great and they have performed well,, Im not sure if they are still being offered but they were much cheaper than any of the other set ups available at that time.. if you cant find the borla's you might get you the JBA's.

^^^^ - I am still holding out here for 6 more weeks for the Borla's. If I can't find them then I will buy the JBA'S instead. I will run no cats and do a custom muffler setup with dynomax bullets. Can you post pix of your exhaust setup from the headers back? That would help my fabrication.

I have a used set of the FRPP headers I took off of my 06 recently when I moved back to the stock exhaust.

It's not aftermarket, like Borla. :sneaky:

Maybe organizing a group purchase would get Borla to make a run of 5 or 10 sets?

Sounds FUN!

Also the muffler and tail pipes to go with.

I'd be in for a group purchase.

Thanks for the link  i bought the headers and the muffler. I have the same exact system on the car now and it just started leaking after 10,000 miles of hard driving in the Arizona heat and racing in 3 states too. I will take the old system off and see if i can fix the leaks and then i will have a spare system. Gonna get my new headers jett hott coated again.
