Looks like a Thunderbolt back there.

Coolest thing so far, after all the Ford fans who didn't know what a GT is...I'm driving down Carlisle's main drag and stop at a light. Two teen girls are walking by. One sees the GT and her eyes get big. She elbows her friend and both jaws drop. The first yells "I race that car on Need for Speed!"

Many thanks to Lance and Greg for buying and sharing the Matech cars with the public. Love love love those cars. Hearing them fire and getting woozy from the fumes in the closed tent was well worth it. The best part is they let the crowd get up close and personal and do the gymnastics required to get behind the wheel. Lance walked me through the process and let me crank up one of the Marc VDS cars and get it up to temp and rev it up a bit. Chills! One thing that blows my mind is how people complain about the visibility in a stock GT and the GT1 cars present a sliver of a sightline. I cannot wait to see these things running again in Vegas.

Good to see everyone, made a quick blitz with Camilo on the way out and sprinted home yesterday just in time to beat today's rainy dreary conditions. GT continues to run like a champ, draw a crowd everywhere and turned just over 1000 miles for the weekend. Stealing a quote from Lance, life is good.

Greg and I just fueled up the cars so we can put them away. I'm still blown away at how gorgeous these cars are - I love the Ford GT! But these race cars take it to an entirely new level. I'm still pinching myself, I was able to achieve a true dream car(s)! I didn't hear one person say they disliked the race cars, in fact I was surprised to hear how many people knew what they were. Greg and I have full intentions to educate the general 'car guy' about the Matech brand and what they achieved. It'll be fun sharing them with the core group that really knows the history and what these vehicles represent. The upcoming Rally in Las Vegas this October will certainly be one to remember! I hope to meet many of you there. For those that came out this weekend to represent their Ford GT's and be there for the unveiling - THANK YOU! It was great seeing so many people come out for this once in a lifetime experience.

Life is good and continues to get better by the day.

Awesome Gary! Also great to see you. Wish got more time to chat. But we were all on the move as much as you were. Much to our surprise, we won a 1st for the mustang we took. Had no idea, I never thought to look.

I'm a huge advocate of having children jump into the vehicles! You just never know what will get them involved with cars in the future. There were times on Saturday I saw a nice line of people to jump into the car, pretty cool to see the strong interest all weekend. I can only imagine how many pictures are floating around on social media and etc.

I can't wait for next year, it's going to be a stellar Ford GT reunion - we've been working on some awesome stuff for the owners.
