Interesting. Was that word from individuals or dealers?

I know of 3 individuals that got cars from this guy with serious paint issues and discoloration.

Were they stored incorrectly or driven and not delivery miles cars?

I assume it was an environmental issue. Some were driven, some where not. They had extremely bad yellowing

Shelby
What would cause yellowing of the paint ???

Ha. The ad has todays date, only one year ago! Guess that's where the confusion started..

Exhaust soot

Some of these high end "collector car" garage clubs have these highly touted HVAC extractors that supposedly suck dust out of these facilities....so no need for covers...bs

What happens is all the soot from 1960s carb cars gets spewed out on start-up and hermetically sealed in these places and recirculated 24/7

Don't ask me how I know...removing yellow tint from concours restored chrome as we speak

An old school home garage with some vent ports is still the best

Now waiting for salt spray to do its magic....

$$$$ spent on babes is better spent !

Correction: diesel soot...see that bus / motorhome!!!!

Yellow paint to start with - OMG...one of mine is yellow...uh oh....:)

Ok I didn't know!
I 'm so embarrassed I don't think I can ever post again.
I'll just stick to driving!

So what's the guy's name and how did he get the cars, knowing that the rest of us went through Ford dealers, for the most part. How did this guy get 15? Some insider Ford Connection?

Some insider Ford Connection?

No insider connection necessary. Remember there were times when GTs were going under sticker. There were more than a couple Ford dealers wandering around buying inventory out of any store they could for their own shops or collections. That dealership in Texas bought a ton from various places, probably dozens during the 04-06 time period. I don't know if it was their own allocation or not, but a dealer around me ended up with 6 that they still have sitting around. A couple in a warehouse, one on a showroom, a couple in another warehouse. I think Peak is up to 11 GTs himself now.
