2013 Boss LS arrives!

very nice

congrats!!

I understand that the cars are built for different purposes somewhat. But what are the distinctives that push a prospective buyer towards '13 Boss 302LS versus '13 GT 500? Weight? Suspension? Brakes? other? I'd appreciate Ron and others opinions. Assume stock configuration on each except for the SVT track package on the GT500. I'm beginning to look, but in no hurry. I've never owned a Mustang except my '64 1/2 289 in the mid 60's! Bert

Bert ,
For me being a track guy the Boss LS was the only choice .Its designed to be a track day car.All your above questions Weight ,suspension are the main reasons. The Gt 500 might beat the Boss for a lap but not for a whole session with comparable drivers. Not only that the normally aspirated motor rocks ! 7,600 RED LINE! .
Here are some new pictures with the 302s suspension The car sits a bit lower .Looks much more squatty !
Roll bar ,front spoiler , laser jammer and Aim dash /data going in next!

This will give me all the info I could ever need!

Congratulations on the car Ron, the Limerock video is some awesome smooth driving. The car looks to get really light over the crest after what appears to be turn 6 !

Can you imagine that screamer Coyote motor in something that weighed 400 lbs less? Corvette killer........c'mon Ford!!

I want a ride!

It will be on the road next week.I'll come pay you a visit .I'll call 1st

Awesome! Will I need to pull-out my hockey helmet?

No but we can shot some pucks in your basement!

A perfect Canadian day! We'll shoot some pucks in my basement and then go for a ride in a Mustang BOSS LS!

Awesome !

That is a great looking car! What is the color called?

School bus yellow. My wife dislikes the color,to loud!

We always called Grabber Orange "school bus yellow" to distinguish it from Calypso Coral/Competition Orange.
So that is hilarious.....is it really called school bus yellow by Ford?

Yep,

That is the official designation. "School Bus Yellow"

Larry

Great set of wheels - nicely matched - have fun!

Nice video Ron!:thumbsup
