heard the vette lost pressure in rear tires. Another high hp camaro had the same problem with the same tires. Mickey Thompson drag radials. I'm betting the outlaw those for big hp cars.

Most people are going towards the R6's. The ART Viper at 239 mph has R6's. hoosier told him to throw them away after 4 runs at those speeds. I have 25+ passes on my R6's at 217++.

I heard the art viper did 293. Is this for real? Todd is living on borrowed time.

Congrats thus far Mullet!! Sorry to hear about Torries problems. Continued success to everyone running the rest of the weekend.

As for the .1......it could be the difference between being the top run of the weekend or second. Didn't that lambo nudge Ray by .2mph a couple of events ago on the last run of day??

Just talked to David Weaver, the owner of ART now, who drove their Viper Twin Turbo to a 240.9 MPH on the last pass!!!! And the tranny broke at the 3/4 MILE so that was coasting across the line :biggrin

CONGRATS FOR THE FASTEST VIPER IN THE WORLD!!!

Going to have to blow the dust off the yellow car before the next mile run I think :biggrin

Ray,

#34 will be at the next Texas Mile as well with a few "improvements" looking for 225 MPH. Let's get "Team Yellow" back together and I'll be standing at the line when you bag 270+. I'm already looking forward to it. :banana :banana

I think that's a great idea to get that insanely fast yellow car back out there for the next mile. For sure I should have my car back up and running and hope to be able to compete with you Ray! No doubt it's a large mountain to climb but if don't shoot for the top what fun is it. Looking forward to the next Texas Mile!!!

I thought the point difference was between his run in Oct and now. But I was mistaken. The black Gallardo ran 241.3 in Oct. And the Viper ran 233.8.

Congratulations to A.R.T.

Soroush's first run of the day 200.8. Come on big boy. You're leaving me 28.8 mph short of my prediction!

Well, he better get it fixed or I heard a nasty rumor that he's gonna be featured in an extra small t-shirt that echoes what his drum of race gas says. :lol

I believe he is doing a 1500+ hp build.
