This is the last Texas Mile at it's current location. The new location will be at Chase field in Beeville Texas. About 30 miles from where it is now.
Mulitiple runways and a little more run off room from what I was told by Shannon the Mile organizer.

I remember going thru Beeville on the way to Goliad for RallyIV. Thats where the bugs were as big as Birds !

Thats good news that the Texas Mile will continue on. We hope to see everyone at the next event. Unfortunately we couldnt get the car finished in time for this weekend but will have it tuned in for sure by the next event.
 
I am glad they secured a new location for the event. Do you know how much longer the braking area will be??

which runways are they going to use Mullet?

There are 2 that run the same direction that goliads runway we don't use goes and then one that almost north south. Wonder if you will get more or less chance of a tailwind now???

Good. More runoff is a good thing. + it will be closer to the hotels.

That is a frustrating time. It appears that the 230 mark is going to be a tough nut to crack. Cold weather, nice tail wind, and a good clean run will hopefully get one of our members beyond that threshold this weekend. When is Soroush going to run?

Ill be there sunday morning, I have to work tomorrow! but Im sure the guys will do better tomorrow!
