Official October 2010 Texas Mile thread

I cracked off a 221.3 and have a little something left for the morning run. Fubar got a 195.1. Aloha did a 215.x and Apollo did a 215.x as well ( they might have topped that but not 100% sure). I think sagt in the upper 180's.

Jonah in lambo went 243. I think that's top for a car so far.

Nice! Looks like it was hot and windy so those are pretty good numbers for everyone. What's the weather looking like for tomorrow?

Your reporting sucks!

Gentlemen,

When Dave and/or I attend an event we post regular updates with lots of info. Stop having so much fun, quit relaxing, and plant your asses down at a keyboard more often to bring us up to date. Don't make me have to come out there! :biggrin

Congrats guys on the great runs!!

Apollo picked up 5+mph from his best run in Mojave of 210.4mph.....and I am sure AlohaGT is enjoying flexing that new TT. :thumbsup

I agree with Chip. Drop a simple name and mph occasionally tomorrow. :cheers

After the orange Gallardo cartwheeled off the end

Thankful to hear the driver is ok.

Be safe and be careful out there. :thumbsup

Ray's 249.7 or 249.9

I just did a 224.5 on my first pass today. Wind is picking up so I might not make another pass.

Apollo did a 219.x

That is just crazy fast!! With that short shut down area stopping has to be as eventful as driving if not more. :eek

My guess is the DA is around 2000 right now.

Basing that off San Antonio raceway. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...PvG1xjpFoYdIrSOFw&sig2=NNWIClrh3HXJe7MV6C4RIQ

In the 1/4 mile, that's probably worth 3-5mph I would think. Not sure if I can extrapolate it to the Mile.

I hear Apollo went 219, AlohaGT went 220, Fubar went 205. WOOO! :cheers
